A terceira Conferência Internacional sobre Criptologia e Segurança da Informação na América Latina, Latincrypt 2014, foi realizada no Costão do Santinho Resort, Golf & Spa, em Florianópolis, entre os dias 17 e 19 de setembro.

O evento contou com a presença de renomados especialistas do setor, como Jacob Appelbaum (Tor Project, Alemanha), Claudia Diaz (KU / Leuven, Bélgica), J. Alex Halderman (University of Michigan, EUA) e Kristin Lauter (Microsoft Research, EUA).
